I was diagnosed with melanoma on 3/7/19 at 35 years old. I have red hair and light eyes and very fair skin; I also had several bad sunburns as a child. At the time of diagnosis, I was classified as Stage II. The pathology report lists “Invasive malignant melanoma, ulcerated, Breslow depth 2.0 mm, Clark’s level IV, extending to one lateral margin.”
