I’m a 29 year old Army Veteran, Male, from the Bay Area. I unfortunately did not take it seriously when others told me to be safe from the sun. I am learning that the hard way now. I will be receiving surgery to treat my melanoma stage 1a very soon. This has been a tough and humbiling year for me and I hope I never have to deal with something like this again.
