Diagnosed in April 2010 with sentinel lymph node biopsy–had complete dissection on the shoulder and neck–no melanoma found —Found the metastasized melanoma in the lungs in March 2012. Did Temodar for 6 mos.Dr. Hodi, then more mets in the brain and abdomen. Currently starting a clinical trial on the drug LEE011 at Dana Faber Cancer Center in Boston, MA. with Dr. Jason Luke. Because of my MS I am not eligible for the drug Ipilimumab which would wreck havoc with my immune system.
