Sorry, I just take multivitamins, calcium and iron plus folic acid in conjunction with methotrexate.

multivitamins as I can't eat most food and calcium as I have spent a large amount of time on IV steroids which caused me to have very low vitamin D levels

              Hi,

I have tried every type of immunosuppressants there are available on the NHS. I have a severe form of crohns which has mixed reactions to immuno suppressants. In addition, I developed allergies to mercaptpurine, azathioprin and infliximab. I now take both Methotrexate and adalimimab.

I have been on adalimimab for 6 years. It has changed my life and I found it worked really well although in the last two years I have developed antibodies and therefore my response is now lower, that's why I'm also taking methotrexate. Together the drugs keep me alive.

my doctor had to pull some strings to get funding for the two drugs but he won. I believe most doctors refuse to use this combination as it can be dangerous. But my doctor has had 'some good results' with it. I now have to travel 200miles to see this doctor as no doctors near my home would alow me to continue this treatment under their supervision.
