Thanks for your advise Jenn! I am seeing a dermatologist right now but I'm not sure if they're a Melanoma dermatologist. Is there any way I can look that up? I did have a full body mole check with them the other day and it seemed like she did a good job. She looked over all of them and made sure to look at the ones I was unsure about with a special magnification glas? The reason for me wanting to go see a specialist is because I would like to get some more info about pregnancy after the melanoma. My husband and me were planning on  becoming pregnant again this month but now I'm not sure wether or not we should wait a while. Every doctor I talked to so far didn't seem to think it was neccassary. My current dermatologist also told me to make sure to get annual eye exams. Is there anything else that I might need to get checked or tested? Just trying to make sure I have everything covered. Thanks again!

I didn't mention that I had a shave biopsy done. I'm worried that they weren't able to determine the full depth of it. My husband says it's clear by reading the report that they were able to determine the full depth. Is that right? Should I insist on having the SLNB done anyways just to be sure because of this? Just trying to make the right the discussions here and really appreciate all the help.
