Thank all of you for comments and support. This forum has been so wonderful since I joined three years ago. Unfortunately I have no idea what the spot looked like because I paid absolutely no attention to it. I just assumed I had some reaction to shampoo or something which hopefully I’ll find out that’s all it was. I will post the results once I get them. And yes Janner is always a wonderful and very much needed voice of reason;-)

By Monday the bump was gone and the scar color was completely back to normal. As embarrassing as it sounds I think it may have been a pimple. I hate freaking out so easily :-/

Now the top part of the scar is turning brown. Since its funky and painful I think I will get a second opinion. Thank you for your response:-)

Thank you for your response. I went to my dermatologist’s office this morning. They injected the bump with a steroid to help reduce the swelling. They don’t think its a lymph node:-)
