Wow! Thanks to both of you for sharing! I have been quite open with my kids, and explained things in a simple manner “mommy has to get all the cancer cut off her, and then she will be fine”. I know the two middle ones are worrying that I might die, and we’ve talked about dying, and that many people have cancer and can still live a long time. Thanks for the idea about Skype for long hospital stays, I am most likely going to need large skin grafts, so I will be there for a while, and that will help.
