Okay, thanks for the advise and encouragement.  The office is scheduled to call me with the results.  Without this reminder to get the report, I likely would not think to do so while on the phone.  Either way, the news they have for me will surely make me emotional. 

If it is Melanoma, what should I expect to do next?

Thank you for your reply, as it is nice to read.  I have Googled this question over and over and have not seen where a changing mole (with melanoma-like changes) can be benigh.  I'm trying to stay positive, but admittedly it's a challenge.  I think this past week has been the longest of my life.  I hope to receive the results this coming Thursday.
