Thank you. It appears from all these posts I shouldn’t necessarily worry about this. Only lately has the needle pain happened, and I’m feeling achy in that area (but that’s been going on off and on since the surgery). I’ll see my dermatologist in December and discuss with him as well, but will not be too concerned at this time. Thanks again!

That sounds like mine. It aches and feels like needles at time. I didn’t feel needles, however, until two years after surgery. But from what I’ve been reading it appears this is not abnormal because nerves are starting to heal.

Thank you! How long ago did you have surgery? Also, I see you are keeping “an eye on another” – did you have a second melanoma?
