Great idea!! We are so overwelmed right now and have no idea what happens next. We don't even have a stage yet… Just know Initial patholgy report says at least pT3a. I know that is not good ans surgeon was not too talkative about what he thinks.

Thank you so much Bill!I it's just been a crazy 3 weeks! It went from normal to what feesl like chaos overnight! The worries can become overwhelming! From how bad is it? to how are we going to pay our bills and keep living!  His work wanting drs to fill out papers to confirm when he can return to work, All of it just took over our lives! (just like that) I am praying they remove it and he has clear nodes and we can go back to normal. Is there ever normal again?

Thank you so much. It was in an existing mole that he has had for years. We never paid attention to it because it looked like all of his other moles and is located on the back of his arm close to his arm pit. It just started bothering him while he was working and that's when it hit us! It grew very large very fast. I feel stupid I did not catch it earlier. We will just take this one step at a time the best we can

Thank you! I am confident in the surgeon but not sure the derm did the biposy correct since the pathology report says the base of the lesion is transected  and Breslow thickness may require revision. The pathology report does not have a Breslow stage. Can the stage be correctly diagnosed without the Breslow depth?

Understand what you are going through. My Husband was just diagnosed with Nodular Melanoma. His biopsy is terrifying! He is having surgery Thursday morning. Good luck to you!

Thank you! I am so glad I found you all! You give me hope! I'm starting to believe that this is not a death sentence and he can live a long life even with this nasty beast. I will post results of pathology report when we get it.

Thank you! He is as tough as they come! I see so many of you are still here! Thank God for that. I am praying for his treatments to prolong his life and for all of you. Whatever treatments that may be. We have not a clue of that yet.

Thank you for the reply! Yes, I am currently seeking employment and I asked the Dr what I should do in his opinion as I would hate to start a new job if he will need me to help him get to his treatments. The Dr just said to keep living life as normal, so that's what we are trying to do. I made my possible empoyers aware of the situation and they are ok with it since I wasup front with them. We have no idea the stage or what's ahead, but that thing is ugly, no doubt about it. We are praying things turn out ok no matter what the future holds. One day at a time.
