My husband, John, is fighting melanoma, which has metastacized to his brain, but so far, nowhere else. He’s had 10 surgeries (8 craniontomies) in the last year and has recovered well without any lasting cognitive or physical deficits, other than fatigue. He’s in good spirits and continues to fight.
