I’m an athlete… noticed an issue with my right thumb nail about 1.5 years back. 6 months later,July 2014 I had a doctor take a look at it and a biopsy was performed… no cancer detected; Lichen Planus was identified. May 2015, after the area never completely healed, a second biopsy was performed… colorless melanoma identified in the nail bed of my right thumb.
Currently in the confusing state of identifying next steps…
