My father has gone through 3 rounds of Ipi, but has stopped due to collitis and other side effects. He can't take systemic steroids due to a very bad toe (maybe MRSA?) infection. But he is losing so much weight. Are there any other successful treatments for collitis? His doc said mesalamine was contraindicated for someone with melanoma in the liver.
