I’m 35 years old and live in Santa Barbara, CA, but I’m originally from Long Island, NY. I work at Santa Barbara City College where I’ve tutored students with disabilities for a little over 5 years (although not consecutively). Now I’m just trying to adapt to my new normal of being a cancer patient. It has been a surreal and very lonely experience overall. I’m an introvert, so going to group therapy in person seems daunting and I’m hoping to find some support here.
