        Congrats! I hit my 4 years NED in April!  I go to the James also and LOVE it there!!!  I’m now currently pregnant and continuing to pray for the best!!

            Congrats! I can tell you I am hoping for what you’re hoping for! I am 4 years NED stage 3a.  I am 13 weeks pregnant.  My onc is very comfortable with me being pregnant.  I will still get nervous/scared… but am mostly excited!  Best of luck! Can’t wait to hear how it goes for you!!

              I LOVE dr. Kendra! I see her too! Did you just start seeing her when you became stage 4, or did you use her previously?  Also, were all of your melanomas new, or a reoccurrence of your initial?

                I only had a SLN and CLND followed by scans.  The docs k talked with did not believe I needed anything else.  Yes- we did wait the suggested amount of time to try for a baby! And with clean scans after the 1st miscarriage, and now being pregnant- I feel a little more confident!

                      Thanks for sharing! Actually, I was originally diagnosed when my 1st daughter was 6 weeks old.  I call her my little life-saver because we noticed the mole changed while pregnant.  Now- 4 years later ( with good appointments and clear scans), here we are!

                              My only thought is know what you will do with the informatikn if it comes back high risk.  I had a dr suggest it- it CR back high risk, and his words to me when I asked about next steps where “ I don’t know, you’re my first.”   Not saying that will be your experience, but just something to think about.  Mine did come back highrisk….and I will (prayerfully) be 4 years NED in April.

                                I talked with dr coit.  He is one of the surgeons.  He said he would be very comfortable if I didn't do the surgery- and encouraged that bc of the little node envolvement.  But still did it bc I'm a worrier :). I pray it goes wonderfully uneventful for you!!!

                                i will also add- I am so thankful I went there- wonderfully talented people!!
