Hi there…..so not to scare you at all. I had a mole on my back checked in June that I would say kinda looked like a fried egg. My regular Dr. And ER Dr. Said it looked fine no worries. So I finally went to a dermatologist and got it checked because I was worried. It came back a week later positive for melanoma. After several surgeries and testing I found that it had moved into my lymphnodes. I had 17 lymphnodes taken from underneath my armpit and happy to say at the moment I am NED! I am taking a trial of yervoy and opdivo to hopefully keep it away. As a 33 year old this whole process has been scary but not the end of the world. It's been 5 months. I told everyone I know to get anything checked out that they were not to sure of..if I had had it checked earlier it would have made a world of difference. Good luck
