I can really relate to what you are feeling.  It feels like we are trapped.  I have just lost my job and I don't know for how long my husband will be able to work.  He has been diagnosed with stage IV melanoma on 22 December 2010, with mets to his lymph nodes and both lungs.  Got the results from the MRI last week and we were told there is a spot.  I can't find a permanent job because who will take care of him when he needs it.  Our children are 13 and 6 years old and it has been really hard financially and now it will be even harder.

I am crying as I am reading your post.  My heart breaks for you.  It really sounds like your husband is suffering.  Enjoy every moment with him, but never loose hope.  Thinking of you.
