        Mary, did you do any kind of treatment ? I had two sentinal nodes show microscopic amounts and had a conplet dissection afterwards..the other 19 resected nodes were clear. The depth of primary was 3mm as well. I’m considering the watch and wait with naturopathic interventions because other than interferon the only hung offered is drug vs placebo trials. I was about t start trying to get pregnant but was advised to wait as it can cause recurrence.

              Found ot today that it is not available to.me…I’m in Canada and it is only available to stage IV..maybe IIIc in some cases. I am stage IIIa so not available to me. I am now looking into naturopathic options as I do not want to be part of a trial…I don’t want to put my life on hold when there is a 50/50 chance that I get a placeBo treatment…might as well do something natural that would allow me to have a baby and try to avoid metastasis.

                    Thanks everyone for your comments. I’m looking into ipi more closely… not sure if it’s approved for my case or funded. That is my next step…and getting a second opinion!

                          My cousin was also diagnosed..stage 4 now after 7 years and he also spoke to me about Ipi. I read up on it a bit but the side negative effects seem numerous. How did the treatment go for you?
