Bio

My dad is 68 years old and was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma. In a matter of one month a small marble size grew to the size of a baseball under his right arm. It has been repeatedly called poorly differentiated neoplasm, but due to the markers on a recent mole removal it is thought to be melanoma and has have moved through the blood stream. The biopsy is still being sent to various labs to determine what type of cancer it is. The lasted markers came back overlapping between melanoma and sarcoma.
Recently he started treatment and has experienced a few side effects from the nivolumab/ipilimumab combo such as rash, sweats, diarrhea. Second treatment delayed due to the diarrhea and use of steroids to combat it.
