Hi Tommy: Keytruda is a very effective treatment for advanced melanoma, My 86 year old mother was treated for stage iv melanoma with mets to her abdomen with Keytruda after all hope was thought to be lost. It wasn't, the Keytruda shrank her tumors by more than 75%, and some are hardly detectable anymore on the CT/PET scan. Her side effects included skin rash, and colitiis controlled with prednisone, and immodium and diet for the diarrhea. My understanding is Keytruda has much less sisde effects than Opdivo. She feels 100% better now after treatment than she did before. I wish you success with your treatment, and I think Keytruda is truly and revolutionary immunotherapy for advanced melanoma, and other cancer patients.
