I've been on Zelboraf for several months. I know that others have talked about diarrhea as one of the side effects. I haven't had any stomach issues with it (except for things tasting weird) but the last few days I've experienced diarrhea.

What have your doctors told you to take if this happens? Any suggestions? I'll reach out to my doctors also. In the mean time I'm making sure I drink lots of water and other liquids. No stomach aches or nausea with it. A little bloating but no cramps. Just a gurgling stomach.
Thanks!

I’m looking forward to the answers to this. That totally describes my husband. He’s been on Zelboraf for 10 months and it started a few months ago…bad diarrhea, gurgling stomach, no pain or cramps. The doctor doesn’t seem too concerned…he drinks a lot and isn’t losing weight. He’s NED right now, so we’re not too concerned. -

I take Immodium and it seems to knock it out great. I try to eat a banana every day too but it doesn’t seem dependent on what I eat. If I’m just bloated and gassy, I’ll try a half a dose, either that or simethicone tabs. Immodium seems to work better. -

When I was on full dose Z, I had the same problem. Just now and then, when it was least convenient. I was on Prilosec because it also gave me heartburn. Dr. never gave me anything else, but had to lower my dose due to liver problems, and the diarrhea never came back at the lower dose.
