Tafinlar Mekinist and cough

      Hi all, my husband was diagnosed stage 4 with a brain met and two in his lung/abdomen in December 2015. He is BRAF positive and after surgery and CyberKnife for the brain met was started on Tafinlar and Mekinist.  He had the fever and chills, but that seems to be subsiding finally. The most bothersome side effects are a couple of sore swollen joints ( like severe arthritis) and a hacking cough that comes and goes.  The good news is the tumors are almost gone, but has anyone had the cough and/or joint problems and have any suggestions for lessening those side effects?  We've tried the basic NSAIDs and he even had a cortisone shot in his wrist but to no avail.  Thanks.
