I imagine rates vary from person to person….Stage IV or otherwise. However, there is data to support the fact that elevated levels have not proven to serve patients well. Wouldn't having high Lymphs lower one's NLR (meaning its a good thing)? My NLR isn't bad, but wish I knew how to boost lymph count, or if a slightly low count was just a common side-effect of (even non-aggressive) cancer. Maybe just one of those things there's nothing to do about.

Wouldn't having high Lymphs lower one's NLR (meaning its a good thing)? My NLR isn't bad, but wish I knew how to boost lymph count, or if a slightly low count was just a common side-effect of (even non-aggressive) cancer. Maybe just one of those things there's nothing to do about.

Sorry, I did not read your question carefully and thought you WERE talking about ANC. However, if you are close to normal in strictyly your lymphocyte count, which roughly 20% is by most lab's standards….you are probably in a fine range. I didn't mean to add to your concern. celeste
