Just finished Yervoy treatment. I have major side effects  such as colitis and hand pain. I am curious if anyone has good results with Yervoy

Yes. I had side effects (rash, diarrhoea, permanent damage to my pituitary gland that has left me dependent on thyroxine and replacement cortisol) but my tumours have shrunk and cannot be detected on a CT scan,

The tumours had shrunk by half three weeks after the fourth treatment and by half again three months later.

Of course it may not hold – it is only 8 months since my last treatment.

I do hope that you are a responder too.

My husband was Stage IV and started the (IPI) Yervoy and finished the 4 in 12 weeks and then took maintenance doses of 1 every 12 weeks.  It was 5 years ago he started the Clinical Trial of the Yervoy (10mg/kg) with GM-CSF.  He has been NED for 3 1/2 years.

If you would like to read about his journey check out his profile.
