Great news for patients needing radiation. If you live on the west Coast or have the ability to travel, you might want to consider Proton Theraphy instead of Gamma Knife, particularly for Brain Mets. Bottomline, Gamma Knife & SRS kills more healthy brain tissue than Proton theraphy.
