So should men be careful not to get someone pregnant while on Zelboraf?

Great question.  The Zelboraf guidelines state:

'females who are able to become pregnant, and males who take zelboraf should use birth control during treatment and for 2 months after stoping zelboraf'

          Hope that helps.

I am still part of the Zelboraf phase II study and earlier today I reviewed the "Consent" document I signed as a condition of participation in the study.  It read in part under a section titled MEN ONLY, "You must agree to use a method of birth control judged to be effective by the study doctor and which will not interfere with the proposed study. You must continue to use birth control during the study and for at least 6 months after your last dose of the study drug." There is more, but this is the main point of this section. Hope this helps.
