My husband is Stage IV with lung and liver mets. After 13 cycles of Keytruda his blood pressure has dropped and he can hardly walk about 15 feet without gasping for air. His oncologist says this is not related to his treatment and has scheduled for a stress test and echocardiogram saying it may be a heart problem. I'm not sure that I agree that it's not related to his treatment. He never had this problem as well as other symptoms before his treatments started. Interesting to see if there are other comments on this.

Just a piece of info…my husband's hemoglobin dropped to 8.4 as of Friday which relates to the shortness of breath. He went ahead with Keytruda treatment but the PA gave him an order to have blood drawn Tuesday and see where level is then. May be looking at a blood transfusion.

Sorry….I meant to add this too. He was still on blood pressure meds from prior to keep his pressures at or below 140/90 as they were generally spiked. These recent low pressures, like 96/63, brought him to the decision to stop the B/P meds on his own and his pressure went back up somewhat to more normal level. Good luck Richard with getting this figured out and fighting the beast!!
