About 2 weeks ago I had a place come up next to my eye. It appeared all at once and resembles a pimple but never has went away. It is pink. Does this sound like a skin cancer and if so what type?? I had melanoma in situ a couple of months ago on leg but this spot looks nothing like that did

It could be a pimple that's slow to heal, or it could be any number of things including skin cancer. Unfortunately, once you have a mel you really do have to get things like that checked out – only a derm or dr with a dermoscope can tell for sure. Or more correctly, only a biopsy / pathology result can tell for sure. I've had three primary mels, all looked quite different to each other, except they were all pretty much flat and brown. You can get more than one mel in close succession, and you can get mels that look different to previous mels is my experience.
