      hi , i found this website while searching this disease.I want to talk about my dad.He is 53 years.His lung all covered small something lentil and he has oxygen problem(Sa02).He is always using oxygen(15 liter per hour).We live in Turkey.He is always coughing since February.Then he decided to go hospital.After some examination nothing found.Then he went on PET-CT but PET-CT's results are clean.Then doctors decided to lung biopsy for diagnostics.My dad had an surgery , they took small part from his lung.After the pathology report, it says malign melanoma.But my dad went too bad after surg

And his lung all covered small lesions so he has seriously breathe problem.I heared yervoy and zelboraf drugs but they are too expensive.Guys, please understand me.I tried of crying and doing nothing.What can i do?Help me, i begging you.

          I am sorry to hear that your father is having so much distress. You must love him very much.

          I don't know anything about the healthcare system in Turkey. However, Yervoy and Zelboraf are very new drugs that were approved within the last 2 or 3 years. Before that, melanoma was treated (and is still often treated) with one or a combination of other chemotherapy drugs like paxil, temodar, interferon, etc. For some people, these drugs work better than the newer therapies. Are these drugs availble in Turkey? What are your father's doctors recommending?

                Hi thanks for your answer.Thesee drugs(yervoy,zelboraf) aren't available in turkey.I talked my dad's doctor so they are using drug called temomid.He takes it along 5 days.Today is the last day.Therefore his infeciton on lungs are really decreased but his breathe problem and sa02 problem is continuing because the disease covered his all lung.my father a little better than before.I dont know what can i do.
