Yes. The procedure has been around for a number of years with mixed successes. But recent improvements in microsurgery seem to be yielding better results.
If you google lymphaticovenous anastomosis you'll find a number of articles and studies on the procedure.
I am keeping tabs on it to see how it develops. I have seen some pretty impressive before and after shots. Most patients saw results almost immediately.
I think the procedure is more popular overseas but larger hospitals like Johns Hopkins are offering it.
