      Hi all! A friend has been diagnosed with oral cancer. This site has been invaluable as a place to learn, vent, and reach out to those with melanoma. Does anyone know of something like this site for oral cancer? I would appreciate any information that I can pass along. My direct email is:

          Hi Cara

          I don't know if there is a site like this for oral cancer. I know there is a website ..I believe it is Oral Cancer Foundation. My son has oral melanoma…very rare even for oral cancers..so I went to that website for info and it scared the heck out of me so I never went back. But there may be useful info for your friend.

            I don't know if there is a site like this for oral cancer. I know there is a website ..I believe it is Oral Cancer Foundation. My son has oral melanoma…very rare even for oral cancers..so I went to that website for info and it scared the heck out of me so I never went back.                 Do you know what actual type of cancer your friend has?  Too often the location is given as though it is a type cancer, not just a location.  Even the Dr Oz TV show refers to cancers as by location only.   Melanoma is a cancer that can go to any location in the body.
