Yes there is, Lilred75 is a stage IV survivor and has I think two kids after she was in remission. You can search her out from her profile name. She doesn't post much any more but when she did it gave a lot of us hope.

There have been several discussions here over the years about melanoma and pregnancy. If you search the forum using the term "pregnancy" you will find them.

The one thing I always worry about is: "If the melanoma should recur, what will be the effect on the children?" If Mommy is very sick and Daddy is always worried, how will the kids react to that? What will be the financial repercussions of a recurrence and how will that affect the children? Who will take care of the kids when Mommy has to go for frequent doctors' appointments and treatments– perhaps even be hospitalized or travel to get special treatments?

While trying to decide whether or not to have children, I hope you and your husband try to imagine life as a child in a melanoma household and consciously and specifically plan for the emotional and financial health of the children in the (hopefully) unlikely event that you have a recurrence.
