I'm noticing that the size of the lump in my groin following the lymph node biopsy 9 days ago, is fluctuating. It's smaller earlier in the day than after I've been up and around all day. It still doesn't just go away.
Is this typical to have so much fluid build up from removal of only 2 lymph nodes?

I had fluid build up for a couple of months after surgery. Only after a professional massage did it go away. Everyone's bodies will be different, yours is doing what it can with the lymph fluid now that it's missing 2 of its guys to help out. Keep your surgeon in the loop, if they don't think it needs to be drained, then keep moving around, lightly massage your thigh and groin. It will go away, it might just take a while.
