I'm sure others will answer but you might also want to try the search function and type in "on pd-1" or "PD-1 trial" or anything along those lines.  There have been a lot of PD-1 threads the last 6 months with people talking about their experiences.

I’ve had 6 rounds of Mercks anti-pd1. Scans at 12 and 16 weeks show continued shrinkage. Although each scan has had something’s small/new show up but then go away.

Side effects have been minimal. I’ve had some itching. I’ve noticed some increase in fatigue and now some joint pain (especially the more humid the weather gets). But overall pretty easy compared to zelboraf and ipi.

How is your dad feeling on it?
