After 6 years I have mets in my leg. I just had a Pet and brain MRI which were negative. I am seeing Dr. Zager at Moffitt on Monday to see my optinns. What treatments recommended at this point

Sorry to hear about your recurrence. Not sure if you have been keeping up with the advances in Melanoma treatment but the good news is there are a lot more promising options that there was 6 years ago. Not sure if surgery will be an option for you or not. If not then one of the most promising trials out there right now is the Novi/IPI combination trial
If you are able to be made NED with surgery you may want to consider the MAGE vaccine trial for NED patients. Your melanoma has to have the MAGE antigen to qualify (about a %60 chance).

Surgery is not an option as they are not resectable . Yesterday’s brain MRI was clear as was the Pet. I see Dr. Zager at Moffitt on Monday. They were talking about ILP
