No fix yet.  If people only hit the submit button once, there wouldn't be multiple postings.

You have to hit POST MESSAGE  just once – and then be very patient.

There's a really long delay after you submit a post. Just like the others said, if you hit the Post Message button just once and then wait, there wouldn't be multiple posts.

There is a way around it, however:

                      1.  Click the Post Message button and wait a few seconds.

                      2.  Open a new tab or browser window and come back into this forum. You'll notice that the topic to which you posted your message will have been updated. The old window or tab will still look like it's trying to post the message.

                      3.  Close the old tab/window and continue browsing in the new one you just opened.

I've found you don't even have to open a new window.  Though the old window looks like it is trying to post, it has already posted.  I'll experiment on this one to make sure I'm accurate.

Why is there such a delay when you hit post?  That's why folks are hitting it multiple times.

Not to keep this going ad nauseam, but my point is that there is no delay.  It just looks like there is.  The post is as immediate as it needs to be.  Maybe the board guardians can fix the illusion, since a lot of posters are obviously not aware that their post has succeeded.
