Has anybody heard from DeniseK lately? What were the results of her PET scans? Has her nausea subsided?
Hey, Denise, if you're out there, give us an update OK?

Hi Pat,
This last month has been crazy. My brain mri came back with the tumor shrinking from 2.3 cm to 8mm, the pet scan showed significant shrinking of all the tumors in my body. I’m still having horrible nausea. I’ve lost 14 lbs in the past two weeks, its welcome weight loss but a horrible way to do it. I tell my dr and he doesn’t seem to care. I ran out of z for a week because they didn’t call in my prescription. My dr is horrible so I’m looking into switching. Its tough getting anything done when all my body wants to do is sleep, I hope these symptoms subside soon. Other than the nausea I’m great!! Thank you so much for asking Pat. ♥ Hows your brother? I haven’t been here for awhile. Hope all is well♥
Thanks again,

Hi, Denise-
Thanks for checking in. I am delighted that all of your tumors are shrinking. That's wonderful news!
The nausea isn't good, of course. You need to eat enough to keep your strength up and keep your immune system fighting the melanoma. I hope you push your doctor to prescribe something for the nausea. Call the office every day, twice a day, until he takes care of this. And change doctors, too. But don't wait until you change doctors to attend to the nausea. The fatigue is a bummer, too. I don't know if that is from the Zelboraf or the WBR. I wonder… the week you were off Zelboraf, was the nausea and/or fatigue any better?
As for my brother, check out my "Last Visit" post on the Off-Topic forum ( http://www.melanoma.org/community/off-topic-forum/any-advice-about-last-visit ). That will give you the latest info. Thanks for asking.
