We are in St Louis, and I completd 3rd ipi dose today. So far I am doing very well and no adverse effects. Have had night sweats, but nothing more. Grateful for feeling well. I know many are in midst of hard days at the moment …  I am constantly aware of this, on both my good days and those that are more difficult.

I take my wife in the morning for your 2nd IPI treatment. I think her worst side effect so far is fatigue. Seems like she sleeps lighter at night easily awaken and rough to fall back asleep. it eventually catches her during the day. She has had some inflammation since her first treatment. I have read other post on here that inflammation is ok. We are looking forward to joining everyone on here at the NED club. Good luck.. Hope your next 3 weeks will be just as good.

Brian, I hope she does well with her 2nd treatment. I have actually had a few nights when I had a pretty hard time sleeping and that is NOT typical for me. May be a side effect that I just wasnt attributing to the ipi. But, if it goes a couple nights in a row, I take a melatonin. Melatonin is something your body manufactures when it is dark and you close your eyes. One of my Drs had recommended it at a point when I was extremely tired and not able to sleep after a surgery. I didn't want a "sleeping pill". I only take them once in a blue moon, but it is nice to know they are available when needed.Just a thought …she may want to ask if that would be ok. I just find that I function much better if I get a good night's sleep. Best wishes as she continues on toward NED club membership!
