lip freckle

      Hi! I noticed new freckle on my upper lip.

      I have it for couple of months already.

      I do not have freckles on my face ,so can it be new melanoma or I just scarring myself?

      I even do not know how lip melanomas look like.

      Does anyone had this expierence ?

          I have a freckle on my lip that's not a melanoma and I have no freckles on my face, either. So, it doesn't have to be melanoma. But, you're going to want to keep a watchful eye on it for any change. Take a photo of it to have on hand as a record. Also take length and width measurements (measure in milimeters) and keep a record of them. This way, you'll have some documentation on it before your next follow up visit with your oncologist. I had a foot freckle that was in an unusual location and I would measure it once a month.
