        No one here can tell from a picture.  The typical things to look for in a hematoma are if it grows toward the end of the toe.  Has this moved at all in the last two months?  Melanoma won't be moving forward at all.  You've already taken a picture to document where it is now.  In the meantime, I'd probably get an appointment with a derm.  But having a baseline picture of where it is now is a good reference point.
