      Hey Warriors!!!

So just finished my 6th round of Pembro (completed PV10 at the 5th round) and quarerly scans. The news is……well……GREAT!

Complete response acheived with the PV10 lymph node, dead, done, gone! The two remaining nodes (abdomen) have shrunk by 50%! The treatment team is "excited".

I told myself that as long as I was showing stable disease on the scans I'd be happy (for now because it would meant that I am holding the battle line)…I got much better news! Feeling good Warriors!

I hope all of you are staying in the fight! Warrior On!!

      Best,

      Tex

Always enjoy great news. In Houson taking scans today and tomorrow before my 6th Nivo infusion myself. Hope my report is as good as yours. Scanxiety starting to set in a bit.

Thanks! I bet we saw each other in passing! I just got back from Houston, I assume you are at MDA also? I hope your scans are as good or better than mine!

MDA and yes still NED. Starting to think I'm going to beat this. Docs and nurses seemed pleased.

That is fabulous to hear, Tex!!!!  I am so glad things are improving!!!  I have been yelling about the possible potential that Rose Bengal/PV-10 (along with other intralesionals) could provide melanoma patients since 2012!!!  I am so glad that you are reaping the benefit.  Hang in there and keep us posted!  Ratties rock!  Celeste

Thanks Celeste! I read your threads on the interlesionals with great interest. In fact, at this point I think I have read most all of your threads on most topics! Looks like there will be a surgery in the near future to clean out the "gunk" left behind from the dead tumor and to more quickly allow the ulcer to heal but it destroyed the tumor and I'm more than willing to trade a surgery for the results!

By the way, I was thinking about all the great info you provide to all of us here while I was driving home, Thank you for all that you do! In fact hold that thought….I'm going to create a proper thread to thank you…

                          Best,

                              Tex/Brad,

I am so happy to read your report.  I was thinking about your battle the other day and was wondering how it was going for you.  Is it me or is there more positive news on this site in recent weeks than there has ever been before?  It is the fuel we all need to keep fighting.  So happy for you!

                              Brad

Thanks Brad! I agree, I think the news is slowly, but increasingly, skewing toward the positive side! I hope and pray that in another few years that the board will be filled with almost all positive news and at some point in the near future there will no longer be a need for this board other than to tell our war stories of when we were all battling this before there was a solid cure! I hope all is well with you too.

                                  Tex/Brad

Great news! I believe PV 10 has a lot of promise in the right settings.

Tex, just catching up with this forum after a busy week … AWESOME NEWS! New the PD-10 tumor was mush, but I'm so glad to hear that the other tumors have reduced by 50 percent. That's terrific! ~ Carol
