Hi everyone…I have had 2 yervoy treatments . After the first one there were no issues at all. Second time I have had diarrhea ongoing for 4 weeks now. Doctor has me on prednisone and while is has reduced some it it is still quite frequent. Tested weekly and monirtoring but hoping to see if others have had this and found success eventually. Mext treatment is on hold until we recitfy the issue.

          Hi Rpruck,

I did ippi in 2015 had a little issue with diarrhea but mostly constipation issue for me which landed me 2 days in hospital. Lots on here have had ippi so you should get lots of feed back. Everyone is different on how they react to treatment but diarrhea is one to watch out for and needs to be under control. Sounds like your consultant keeping it in check with weekly test. Ippi reduced my tumours by 50% and keep liver , lungs stable for 2 years now. Had a set back last March brain met but gamma knife took care of that hoping for still stable in April Scans. Hang in there take care.

My husband took Yervoy  and did not have the diarrhe issues.  He took the initial 4 doses of 10 mg/kg and then went on maintenance doses for 2 years 9 months.  He became NED after 16 months and has remained that way for almost 5 years.  You can read more if you would like in his profile.

Judy (loving wife of Gene Stage IV and now NED for almost 5 years)
