I had my second Ipi/Nivo infusion on Wednesday. Yesterday I woke up with stomach cramps. As a woman, it feels like cramps that happen during my menstrual cycle.. but it's nowhere near that time of the month.. so it's weird. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced cramps? It's on both sides, lower abdomen area. No diarrhea or any abnormal bowel movements. Hoping it's nothing and will just go away, but it's really uncomfortable right now. Will definitely call my onc on Monday if it doesn't go away or beforehand if diarrhea starts up.
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend so far.

Hi
My dose 2 of ipi nivo is due on Monday. Read your post with interest. Have a look at this- https://www.melanoma.org/find-support/patient-community/mpip-melanoma-patients-information-page/ipinivo – see Ashley's reply- probably is ipi by the looks of things.. hope it settles soon but like most things reporting sooner rather than later is a good idea ?

Thank you Deb. The cramps seem to subside as the day goes on, it's the worst in the morning, now they are gone, such a weird feeling. I'll probably shoot my onc an email anyway, always best to keep our docs in the loop with any weird new thing.
Hope your 2nd goes smoothly!

My mother had sharp cramp-like pains and it turned out to be colitis and extremely high liver numbers. She has been in the hospital for 6 days now because they need to monitor closely and put her on high dose steroids. Definitely keep your doctor posted. She was hesitant to tell the doctor too, because the pain mostly went away, but we are glad that we did. Sometimes the symptoms turn out to be nothing and sometimes it turns out to be something quite serious that can be treated early on. Good luck!

Thank you Cindy, I let my onc know, even though the cramps have not come back since Saturday, so, for now I'm ok and if it returns I will go in for tests.
Hope your mom is feeling better.
