Is it normal to run a low grade temp and feel like one has the flu after a WLE?

Does the WLE site look red around it? My first thought is possible infection. Let your doctor know soon.

If you are on any strong pain meds, those can make you feel nauseous, so if you are that could be the flu feeling. But if not, then no I don't believe it is normal to feel like that.

The area around the incision is a bit angry looking and my husband body  feels like he has the flu. I'm planning on calling the surgeon tomorrow if my husband doesn't feel better tomorrow. I just read if  a fever develops after 48 hours post op it most likely is infection. The incision is along his jawline. Thanks for responding Jenn
