Have you mentioned the pain to your doctor?

                Hi MoiraM,

Hope you are well, i did mention it when went for follow up after treatment it was not my consultant thou but a young trainee. She asked if it had got worse i said no it is just present after getting up and about. my scans are 5th july so i will give the nurse a call see what she thinks.

Thanks for message, i am attending a seminar at bristol on 17th june for a melanoma conference. we are staying in bristol for two nights. will let you know how it goes.

I've had SRS on two separate occasions but never had the pain you are describing. I would check with the doctor to make sure there's no swelling in the area. Best wishes!

                            Hi Scooby,

As a data point for you, I've had SRS two times also, like Rosa1, but haven't experienced any pain like that in the weeks and months afterwards. So in my case, I'd probably report anything like that to my docs.

Have you ever felt that kind of pain from your arthritis before? Or is this not feel like anything you've felt before?

My Mother's radiologist and neuro-oncologist ask if she has headaches every time she sees them. Headaches could simply be a side effect of the SRS treatment, but it could also indicate a new metastase or even bleeding of one or more treated metastases.

You should contact your doctor right away.

                                        Good luck!
