Hi All, my scans at 7.5 weeks on Keytruda are showing universal growth in all lesioins. In all hope, could it be inflammation? How long to proceed treatment before considering another option (there is still a question about what that is)? That is, what is the definition of "failed" on Keytruda?
Thanks in advance. Leslie

So you probably have had 3 doses at that time. If your tumor burden is ok so you can give it more time and you feel ok I would give it 2 or preferably 3 more doses. Immunotherapy takes time to work and yes that could be the med causing swelling. On the flip side though at that same time they said I had 19 of 30 tumors shrinking. So it is a really tough call to make. What other treatment options are they offering? I'm curious because I've had 16 doses and my 3rd pd1 scan is tomorrow and the doc is already talking about the ERK treatment for me.

Hi Artie,
Thank you for your reply. Your last question about treatment options is a good one–I'm blowing through the standard treatments pretty quickly.. TIL treatment has been mentioned, with a mixed report. A very intense treatment that requires ICU care.
What is the ERK treatment you mention? That is new to me.
What country are you in and/or region of the states?

ERK is pills like the braf except I don't think you have to have the braf mutation. I'm in saint Louis.
