It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Steel. Susan's vision, boundless energy, and extraordinary kindness have been a true inspiration, and will be remembered always.
Susan was determined to improve melanoma research and treatment for those who came after her, especially young families for whom she often became a lifeline. Her ultimate goal was to ensure the creation of the first-ever, national, collaborative melanoma tissue bank, which will change the future of cancer research. In order to achieve that dream, her family asks that donations be made to Skin of Steel in her honor.

More about Susan's journey can be found here, while information about the national melanoma tissue bank is here.
